ESPN+ is the deepest single-subscription soccer product in the US for non-UEFA, non-MLS, non-Premier-League content. La Liga (every match), Bundesliga (every match), FA Cup, EFL Championship, USL Championship, UFC pay-per-views, hundreds of college football and basketball games — all on one $11.99/month subscription.
The platform lost Serie A to Paramount+ in the 2024 rights cycle, which thinned the European-football lineup. But La Liga’s 380 matches plus Bundesliga’s 306 plus the FA Cup makes ESPN+ the second-most-valuable soccer subscription in the US after Peacock.
Live US-relevant fixtures above — ESPN+ broadcasts the bulk of European Saturday/Sunday matches not on Peacock or Paramount+.
What’s on ESPN+ for soccer
La Liga: every match (380 per season). Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Sevilla — all 20 sides. ESPN’s English-language broadcast plus the ESPN Deportes Spanish-language feed both stream on the same subscription.
Bundesliga: every match (306 per season). Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen — full slate.
FA Cup: every round, every match. ESPN+ won FA Cup rights in the 2024 cycle, which moved English domestic cup football off Paramount+’s old contract.
EFL Championship: select matches, primarily relegated-Premier-League sides and US-following draws (Wrexham, Leeds, Norwich, etc.).
USL Championship: every match. The second-tier US professional men’s league streams exclusively on ESPN+.
NWSL: secondary fixtures. The NWSL primary broadcast deal moved to Paramount+/CBS in 2024, but ESPN+ retains a partial slate.
International friendlies and select Concacaf qualifiers: rotating coverage.
Pricing in 2026
ESPN+ standalone: $11.99/month or $119.99/year. The annual plan saves about $24.
The Disney Bundle: $14.99/month combines ESPN+ with Disney+ and Hulu (with ads). Three subscriptions for $3 more than ESPN+ alone. If you’d consider any of the bundled services, this is the better math.
ESPN+ Premium with The Disney Bundle: $26.99/month. Adds Hulu (no ads) plus the standard bundle. Same ESPN+ access.
What ESPN+ is, what it isn’t
ESPN+ is the streaming product. It’s separate from ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU — those are linear cable channels. Some marquee La Liga matches simulcast on ESPN or ESPN2; those simulcasts require either cable or a cable-replacement service like YouTube TV.
The streaming-only content (most of any matchweek) is exclusive to ESPN+. If you want La Liga’s Tuesday-Wednesday midweek matches, you need ESPN+ — there’s no linear alternative.
Other ESPN+ sports worth noting
UFC: every UFC pay-per-view sells through ESPN+ (the PPV itself is an additional ~$80 charge on top of the subscription, but the access path runs through ESPN+).
College football: hundreds of games per year, primarily the SEC, Big 12, and AAC slates. The Saturday-afternoon mid-card matchups your cable wouldn’t show on linear ESPN.
College basketball: same scale, same logic.
NHL: out-of-market hockey games on the Sunday slate.
MLB: Sunday Night Baseball plus rotating regular-season coverage.
PGA Tour: Featured Group coverage during select tournaments.
The Disney Bundle math
If you have kids: Disney+ alone is $13.99/month. Adding ESPN+ and Hulu via the bundle drops the marginal cost to ~$1/month. For most US households the bundle is the right move.
If you don’t have kids and don’t watch Disney content: standalone ESPN+ at $11.99 is fine.
What ESPN+ doesn’t have
Premier League (Peacock). Champions League (Paramount+). Serie A (Paramount+, since 2024). MLS (Apple TV). NBA regular season (network varies; some on TNT/ESPN, most via NBA League Pass). NFL (varies by network).
The La Liga + Bundesliga + FA Cup + USL combination remains a strong soccer value at the price point. Pair it with Peacock and Paramount+ and you cover most of European club football for ~$28/month combined.
