Overview
Streameast respects intellectual property rights and complies with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy describes how to submit a copyright notification, how we process notifications, and how to submit a counter-notification if your content has been removed in error.
Important: what Streameast is not
Streameast is an editorial publication covering US sports broadcasting. We do not host video content, do not stream live or recorded sports, and do not link to unauthorized streams. All broadcaster references on this site refer to legally licensed broadcasting services. We do not facilitate access to copyrighted broadcasts.
If you have arrived at this page believing Streameast is a streaming platform, you are at the wrong site. Streameast.services is an editorial site only.
Filing a copyright notification
If you believe content on streameast.services infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notification. To be effective, your notification must include the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
Your physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized agent acting on the copyright holder’s behalf).
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If your notification covers multiple works on the same site, you may provide a representative list.
Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including its location on streameast.services. Provide the specific URL of the page containing the alleged infringement, and identify which specific text, image, or asset on that page is infringing. Vague references to “the site” or “all of your content” do not constitute valid identification.
Your contact information, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
Notifications missing any of these elements will be returned for correction.
Where to send notifications
DMCA notifications should be sent to our designated copyright agent at [email protected].
We acknowledge receipt of valid notifications within two US business days. We process valid notifications within seven US business days, taking down content where the notification establishes a prima facie case of infringement.
Counter-notification procedure
If your content has been removed pursuant to a DMCA notification and you believe the removal was in error or the result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notification must include:
Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that has been removed, and the location at which the material appeared before removal.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
Counter-notifications should be sent to [email protected].
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original notifying party and may restore the removed material in ten to fourteen US business days, unless the original notifying party files an action seeking a court order against you.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the editorial relationship with contributors who are deemed to be repeat infringers under our policy. Streameast does not host user-generated content, so the practical scope of this provision is limited to occasional guest contributors.
Misrepresentation warning
Section 512(f) of the DMCA imposes liability on any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing or was removed by mistake. We take false notifications seriously and may seek damages from notifying parties whose claims are knowingly false.
