Streameast privacy policy. How we collect, use, and protect personal information for US visitors.

Last updated: April 29, 2026

Overview

Streameast is an independent US sports broadcasting editorial site. This privacy policy describes what information we collect from visitors, how we use it, and what rights you have over your personal information. We aim to collect the minimum data necessary to operate the editorial site and to respect visitor privacy as a core editorial value.

What we collect

Server logs. Our web server records standard request information for every page view: IP address, user agent string, requested URL, referring URL, and request timestamp. These logs are used for debugging, security, and aggregate traffic analysis. Logs are retained for thirty days and then deleted.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site traffic. Google Analytics collects anonymized session information, page views, and approximate geographic location. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymization and have not enabled advertising features. If you prefer not to be tracked by Google Analytics, you can install a browser extension that blocks the analytics script.

Email correspondence. When you contact us at [email protected], [email protected], or any other published email address, we retain your message and our reply for editorial recordkeeping. We do not use email addresses collected through correspondence for any marketing purpose.

Cookies. We do not set first-party cookies for tracking or personalization. Google Analytics sets standard analytics cookies; see the cookies policy for details.

What we do not collect

We do not maintain user accounts, comment systems, or registration forms. We do not collect names, addresses, payment information, or other identifying data beyond what visitors voluntarily share via email correspondence. We do not use ad networks that track visitors across sites.

How we use information

Server logs and analytics data are used internally to understand site traffic patterns, debug technical issues, and inform editorial decisions about which topics generate reader interest. Email correspondence is used to respond to inquiries and to maintain a record of editorial communications.

We do not sell, share, or disclose visitor information to third parties beyond the limited use of Google Analytics described above. We do not provide visitor information to broadcasters, leagues, or other commercial entities.

Your rights

If you are a US visitor, you have the right to know what personal information we have about you (which is generally limited to email correspondence and any IP addresses recorded in server logs). You can request deletion of any email correspondence we have on file by contacting [email protected]. We will respond within thirty days.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information has been collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (which we do not do), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].

Children

Streameast is intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact [email protected] and we will delete the information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. The most recent version is always published at this URL with the updated date noted at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least seven days.
